Plymouth Drake Foundation is a community charity, providing grants to benefit the people of Plymouth. We were tasked to redesign their image to compete in the ultra-competitive charity market, ensuring clarity about what the organisation does and stands for.
We have considerable experience in the charitable sector, which helped us get under the skin of the organisation. By gathering the trustees for a creative workshop, we established the design brief, challenges and opportunities, aims and objectives. The session allowed the trustees to consider the future and what we needed to achieve with the brand.
We delivered two design concepts for the new identity, one was a clear favourite and this was worked up. Our work continued with the delivery of stationery and a content managed web development that really performs.
